Level 1 is where our students learn the fundamentals of each style. Dancers will focus on proper posture, body alignment, simple coordination and basic steps in each style.
Level 2 dancers will build off the skills learned in level 1. Dancers will learn how to maintain proper posture and body alignment while executing simple movements as well as age appropriate technique.
Level 3 dancers will build off of skills mastered in level 2. This level challenges students to take individual responsibility for proper posture, body alignment and advanced/mature coordination. Students will be expected to execute technique with precision and artistry.
Level 4 dancer will build off of skills mastered in the previous levels. Curriculum will focus on an advanced level of body awareness, quality of movement and setting new standards with artistry while maintaining proper posture, body alignment and defined technique.
1. How long is a session?
-We are technically year round program. However, we break up our year into 3 sessions. Fall (Sept.-Dec.), Spring (Jan.-May) and Summer (June-Aug.)
2. Once I sign up, do i have to finish the whole year?
-No, we do have a 30 day cancellation if you need to leave us for any reason!
3.When can i enroll?
-Anytime! In the spring typically anyone who enrolls after March cannot participate in our end of year recital though.
4. Are there other fees in addition to tuition?
-Monthly, no. We do charge an annual registration fee when you sign up and if you choose to participate in our annual recital you will incur other fees.
5. Is the studio ever closed?
- Yes! We are typically closed for all major holidays . We also follow the Duneland School Corporation calendar. Typically when DSC is closed so are we.
